A representative selection of oils from my trip to Sydney, Australia. It's a long way to go for oils but fortunately I had a business meeting to attend.
A huge bottle of the famous Aussie essential oil for about half the price in the UK. Rather than put 'Melaleuca alternifolia' on the bottle, they put a kangaroo and platypus. I guess that must be a mark of quality.
I hate to think what this one is all about but it smells a bit like lemongrass. Contains undisclosed natural essential oils.
Australia is a continent of gum trees. Most of them black and smouldering around Sydney ( early 2002 ). Anyway, I'm sure they will grow back with flame-retardant bark. That's Darwin for you. This one is 'Eucalyptus staigeriana' which is a beautiful, sherbet-lemon flavour with a hint of menthol. Very refreshing.
A small pot of silky smooth, antiseptic balm. 'Rub into pulse points' it says on the box. If I had any I most certainly would.
